Dream Team

Mitchell & Ness has been asked by SI (Sports Illustrated) to make throwbacks for the magazines "Dream Team," which includes Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and Mike Schmidt, for its upcoming "Sports Illustrated: The Baseball Book."

A spokesman for the retailer says M&N designed jerseys, pants and jackets to recreate the uniforms of athletes throughout baseball history. Sports Illustrated digitally added the players' heads onto the models' bodies. Part of the "Dream Team" appears on SI's Oct. 9 cover.
